Bathing Ape Roadstas are Bapes newest addition to there sneaker line. Some say that they are a copy of the Air Max series by Nike but they are different. They actually use the body of the Nike Air Max Bruin, except of course with that shooting star known as the Sta across the side.
The first batch of Roadstas were much different from traditional Bape sneakers, they did not feature patent leather which is that thing that makes Bapes so flashy and grab your attention. They did in fact have something special about them, that being the air bubble. Depending on what color you got, the air bubble had matching camo inside that grabbed your attention. Original color ways were also released in non-patent, and we can expect to see patent very soon on there hot shoes.
